This invention is directed to a soldering iron stand (1) which comprises a stand base (10), and a soldering iron holder (30) provided on an upper portion of the stand base (10) and formed to have a curved surface for receiving thereon a soldering iron to be held by the stand base (10). The soldering iron holder (30) has a plurality of recesses (52a) formed therein and arranged in a circumferential direction of the curved surface. Each of the recesses (52a) is provided with heat-resistant elastic member (61).
