A bi-stable polarized relay comprises an armature mounted on a leaf spring and surrounded by a coil and moving between a pair of polepieces which are insulated from each other by an insulating e.g. sintered, permanent magnet, the armature and polepieces acting as contacts. A plurality of relays of this type sharing a common permanent magnet may be assembled in a synthetic case. The leaf spring assists the contact pressure in both positions. Two coils may be provided. |
