In a twin clutch transmission, a first clutch (74) inputs rotation power transferred from a crankshaft (60) to a first main shaft (71) and outputs that rotation power to a rear wheel (12) via an odd-numbered transmission gear mechanism, and a second clutch (75) inputs rotation power transferred from the crankshaft (60) to a second main shaft (72) and outputs that rotation power to the rear wheel (12) via an even-numbered transmission gear mechanism. The first and second main shafts (71 and 72) are placed in a mutually rotatable fashion on an axis line parallel to the crankshaft (60), and a transmitting part of driving force output to the rear wheel (12) via the even-numbered transmission gear mechanism on the second main shaft (72) has an outer diameter approximately identical to that of a transmitting part of driving force output to the rear wheel (12) via the odd-numbered transmission gear mechanism on the first main shaft (71), and is placed without concentrically overlapping the transmitting part of the first main shaft (71). |
