<p>The method involves detecting metrological air pressure (p) by an air pressure sensor arranged on carriers (24). The detected air pressure is transmitted as a measurement value to radio frequency identification (RFID) writing/reading devices (30). The transmitted measurement value is compared with lower and upper reference pressure values (Po, Pu), which are periodically detected by fixed reference carriers (24ref) arranged in different floors of a building (10). A vertical position of the carriers is determined based on the comparison. An independent claim is also included for a system floor-sensitive localization of radio frequency identification tags in a building.</p> |
