PURPOSE: A paving method of elastic pavement using high-brightness glass beads with a large diameter is provided to improve abrasion-resistance of elastic pavement, and to improve visibility in the nighttime. CONSTITUTION: A paving method of elastic pavement using high-brightness glass beads with a large diameter is as follows. Elastic pavement is formed by mixing elastic chips(12) 75~78 weight% and urethane binder(13) 18~23 weight%. The elastic pavement is spread on the top of a base floor. High-brightness glass beads(11) of a large diameter are spread on the top of the elastic pavement. The spread glass beads are thermally pressed using a heating roller. The surface of the pressed glass beads are coated with urethane paint. |
