PURPOSE: A reduction apparatus is provided to improve the degree of freedom in design with low costs by using a sheet metal to embody hardness characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A pair of cylinder roller rows comprises includes a plurality of cylindrical rollers having a rotation shaft against the axis of an output unit(16). The circumferential plane and a plane opposite to circumferential plane of a cylinder roller are parallel with the rotation shaft. A support surface in the inner circumferential plane is parallel with the cylindrical roller. A supporting surface supports the back side of the circumferential plane of a sheet metal. Main bearings(18,20) are located between an output unit and a fixing unit.
