PURPOSE: A method for culturing chlorella starter is provided to culture chlorella starter of high CGF(chlorella growth factor) content through cross culture of autotrophic culture and heterotrophic culture. CONSTITUTION: A chlorella starter of high GCF(chlorella growth factor) content is obtained by cross culture of autotrophic culture and heterotrophic culture. The autotrophic culture is performed by injecting carbon dioxide. The autotrophic culture medium contains 0.025-0.122% of monophotassium phosphate, 0.05-0.246% of magnesuium sulfate, 0.0006-0.003% of iron sulfate, 0.025-0.125% of potassium nitrate, 0.02-0.1% of sodium citrate, and 1.5-2.0% of agar. The heterotrophic culture medium contains 1-2% of glucose, 0.025-0.122% of monopotassium phosphate, 0.05-0.246% of magnesium sulfate, 0.0006-0.003% of iron sulfate, 0.025-0.125% of potassium nitrate, 0.02-0.1% of sodium citrate, and 1.5-2.0% of agar.
