PURPOSE: A polymer solution for cooling wire rods, a producing method thereof, a cooling method using thereof, and the wire rod manufactured therefrom are provided to form a wire rod with improved strength and durability by including a cementite tissue separated from a micro ferrite. CONSTITUTION: A polymer solution for cooling wire rods during a strand manufacturing process of a wire rod manufacturing operating contains 15~30% of polyalkylene glycol and 70~85% of water. A producing method of the polymer solution comprises the following steps: preparing 15~30% of polyalkylene glycol and 70~85% of water; and mixing by stirring the polyalkylene glycol and the water at room temperature~80 deg C for 20 minutes~8 hours. The stirring process is performed after adding hydrochloric acid to an acid catalyst.
