Disclosed are: an N-acyl glutamic acid salt which can provide an excellent foaming property and excellent smooth and moist feelings after washing; and a skin cleanser comprising the N-acyl glutamic acid salt. Specifically disclosed are: an N-acyl glutamic acid salt which comprises an N-lauroyl glutamic acid salt in an amount of 35 to 50 mass%, an N-palmitoyl glutamic acid salt and an N-stearoyl glutamic acid salt in the total amount of 30 to 50 mass%, and an N-oleyl glutamic acid salt in an amount of 14 to 25 mass%; and a skin cleanser comprising the N-acyl glutamic acid salt.
