PURPOSE: A power amplifier and method recompense an electricity of the input signal by using difference between the power level of the output signal and the reference power level. CONSTITUTION: An up-converter is created the input signal which is compensated by applying the set electric power compensation gain value to the baseband signal. A power amplifier(160) amplifies the compensated input signal as described above. The electric power compensation processor(190) establishes the electric power compensation gain value based on difference between the power level of the output signal outputted from the power amplifier and the reference power level.
