DIGITAL REPEATER OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A digital repeater of a mobile communications system for reducing the construction/maintenance cost of a relay system is provided to implement high speed transmission on a cheap coaxial cable. CONSTITUTION: If an RF(Radio Frequency) signal is received, a DU(Donor Unit)(122) devides the received radio frequency signal into narrow band signal of N of a preset bandwidth. The DU combines the divided N narrow band signals according to a channel bonding scheme. The DU transmits the combined signal through the transmission line. An RU(Remote Unit)(124) changes the transmitted signal into the radio frequency signal.
