PURPOSE: A variable oil pump is provided to prevent an abnormal motion of a relief spring, such as buckling and displacement, using a holder, a guider, and a return spring. CONSTITUTION: A variable oil pump comprises a pump housing(10) with a pivot(11), a slider(20) which is installed in the pump housing and rotates around the pivot, a spring supporting part(21) formed in the slider, a relief spring(30) installed in the pump housing to provide a restoring force to the spring supporting part, a spring mounting part(15) formed in the pump housing corresponding to the spring supporting part, a holder(40) which is installed between the upper side of the relief spring and the spring support part to support the upper side of the relief spring, a guider(50) which is arranged in the spring mounting part to slide or swing on the bottom of the spring mounting part and supports the lower side of the relief spring, and a return spring(60) which is connected to the guider and the spring supporting part and provides an elastic force to the guider.
