PURPOSE: A novel dithienopyrrole derivative and an organic electroluminescence device using the same are provided to use as a hole injection, hole transport, electron injection and transport, or light emitting material. CONSTITUTION: A novel dithienopyrrole derivative is denoted by chemical formula 1. The compound of chemical formula 1 is a compound of chemical formula 2. An organic electroluminescence device comprises a first electrode, second electrode, and organic layer between the first and second electrodes. An organic layer contains the dithienopyrrole of chemical formula 1.
