PURPOSE: A navigation system, a system and a method for managing a schedule using the same are provided to improve convenience by automatically calculating a distance, a route, and a time required for a next schedule. CONSTITUTION: A system for managing a schedule using a navigation system comprises a touch screen, a GPS unit(212), a name card recognizer(230), a storage unit(260), and a controller(270). The GPS unit receives navigation information from multiple satellites. The name card recognizer obtains a name card image. The storage unit stores map data for guiding a route. The controller displays information about required time in the touch screen using the navigation information and the map data.
