PURPOSE: A displacement-amplifying damping system is provided to minimize damage to a structure by absorbing and scattering seismic force applied to the structure. CONSTITUTION: A displacement-amplifying damping system comprises link members(11,12,13,14), eccentric rotary plates(70), support members, and a damper(20). The link members are connected to a structure. The eccentric rotary plates are arranged so that support points(P0) and two action points(P1,P2) can be collinear. The support members are installed in the shorter action point between the action points. The damper is installed in the longer action point between the action points, and absorbs the displacement of the structure.
