PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to optimize the cell efficiency of a solar battery by minutely forming the width of a finger electrode and minimizing the shielding of light. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor substrate is prepared. A plurality of finger electrodes are formed in one-side of the semiconductor substrate. A plurality of bus bar electrodes are connected to a plurality of finger electrodes. The distance between the finger electrodes is 0.5mm or 2.5mm. The height of the finger electrode is 5um or 30um.
