PURPOSE: An abrasion resistant roll wiper for a hot rolling process is provided to reduce the risk of fires by raising the ignition temperature of a roll wiper to approximately 700°C. CONSTITUTION: An abrasion resistant roll wiper for a hot rolling process comprises a wool felt layer(30), an abrasion-resistant layer(40), a heat-resistant layer(50), and phenol resin. The abrasion-resistant layer including cotton fiber is formed on the upper part the wool felt layer. The heat resistance layer is formed on the upper part the abrasion-resistant layer. The phenol resin serves as a binder between the abrasion-resistant layer and the wool felt layer. The heat-resistance layer comprises one or more of glass fiber, carbon fiber, and ceramics.
