<p>The end of the crane jib (2) has a pulley (6) that can be moved along its axle (7) between a central position for a single cable and a side position for a block and tackle assembly with a double cable (3a, 3b). The pulley block (4) with its housing (17, 18) contains a pulley wheel (20) and a retractable guide (30) for the lifting cable. Where a double cable is used, the cable end connector (16) is attached by a coupling (15) to the end of the jib at a point opposite the pulley (6). With a single cable its end is attached to a point (24, 25) on the block.</p> |
