PURPOSE: An air supply controlling device of a fuel cell system and a controlling method thereof are provided to reduce a reverse pressure applied to the rear side of an air blower while requiring high driving power. CONSTITUTION: An air supply controlling device of a fuel cell system comprises the following: an air blower(16) supplying external air to a humidifier; a humidifier(20) supplying external air to an air electrode(14) of a fuel cell stack(10) after humidifying; an air exhaust line(40) connected between the outlet of an air electrode and the humidifier; a humidity sensor(54) located on the entrance of the humidifier; a by-pass line(50) bypassing external air; and a back pressure controlling valve(52) for the air blower and installed on the by-pass line while closing and opening depending on humidity. |
