PURPOSE: A method, a system, and a computer readable recording medium for providing translated comic content and exposing the translated comic content for keyword searches are provided to enhance the availability of cartoon content by providing translated comic content after translating text included in comic content. CONSTITUTION: A translation request receiver(211) receives information about comic content to be translated and a translation request. An OCR unit identifies the type of write form of text which comprises a first language included in the comic contents. The OCR unit discriminates and recognizes a character according to the distinguished write form. A character translator(215) translates the recognized character to a second language. A translation result provider(217) provides the translated comic content.
