PURPOSE: A medium that records a program for converting a color image is provided to efficiently perform the conversion of a color image from a RGB color space into a Lab color space based on conversion table information. CONSTITUTION: Plural RGB(Red, Green and Blue) values is a color space value. A Lab value is obtained from the conversion of the plural RGB values, and a Lab color space value. Conversion table information is prepared and includes plural RGB values and the Lab value. Based on the conversion table information, an RGB image is converted into a Lab image.
