<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature controller for using the heat of one of an engine or a motor for adjusting the heat of the other. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature controller includes the engine that is mounted on a vehicle and generates power transmitted to a wheel by burning fuel, a motor that is mounted on the vehicle and generates power transmitted to the wheel by converting electric energy into kinetic energy, and a common medium passage 13 through which a heating medium for performing heat exchange between the engine and the motor passes. The temperature controller includes a motor controlling means (Step S1) for supplying electric power to the motor to drive it, a temperature determining means (Step S3) for determining whether the temperature of the motor becomes a predetermined temperature or higher, and a warming up means (Step S4) for raising the engine temperature by transmitting the heat of the motor to the engine via the heating medium when the temperature of the motor is determined to become the predetermined temperature or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
