PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid numerical aperture reduction or transformation gain reduction that may occur when pixel addition is performed in a four-pixel shared structure of a solid-state imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: Each of pixels in a pixel array comprises a so-called two-pixel shared structure where drains of transfer transistors Tr0 and Tr1 for transferring electric charges created in a charge storage section are connected to an amplification transistor SFTr0 and drains of transfer transistors Tr2 and Tr3 are connected to an amplification transistor SFTr1, and outputs of amplification transistors (source followers) SFTr0 and SRTr1 are short-circuited to average pixel signals between row signals in the same color in a spurious manner.
