PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device capable of preventing reflection to exactly display an imaging picture in an electronic view finder, for example. SOLUTION: An electro-optic device includes an electro-optic panel (100) having an image region (10a) where a plurality of pixels are disposed, and a light-shielding section (625) formed on a side of a light exiting surface of the electro-optic panel for display light, along at least a part of the rim of the image region and inclining and protruding toward the inner peripheral side of the image region with respect to the light exiting surface.
