<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, a control method therefor and a program, capable of performing fine output control to meet the intent of a user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image processing device includes: an inhibition information extraction means for extracting output inhibition information which is additional information representing inhibition of image data output, based on an input image data; a cancellation condition extraction means for extracting cancellation condition information which is additional information representing a condition to cancel the inhibition of image data output, based on the input image data; an operation indication means for urging the user to input such an output target as to satisfy the cancellation condition by reference to the output inhibition information and the cancellation condition information; an operation acceptance means for accepting an indication input related to an output form of the image data input by the user, according to the display of the operation indication means; an output control means for determining permission or inhibition of the image data output according to the content received by the operation acceptance means; and an output inhibition means for inhibiting the image data output when the output control means determines output inhibition.
