<p>The invention relates to a method for the automatic short-circuit and overvoltage protection of low power electric receivers (220V x 40A = 8800W at the most). The claimed method is meant to be applied within a quick short-circuit and overvoltage protection electronic device made of a microcontroller (U2) which measures the network voltage, the power circuit thereof having serially connected a triac-based variable current regulator (Q1) and a resistor (7) for limiting the current to the maximum peak value (400A), accepted by the triac (Q1).</p> |
