<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process evaporation fuel without causing deterioration of fuel consumption in a hybrid car. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid car 10 is configured so that a battery 500 is charged by power supply from an external power source 20, and provided with an EV mode constructed so that EV traveling is performed as much as possible and an HV mode in which the frequency of cooperative control of a motor generator MG2 and an engine 200 is higher than the EV mode as traveling mode. The ECU 100 executes traveling mode switching processing. In the processing, when adsorption amounts Dvp of evaporation fuel in a canister 811 is equal to or more than a reference value Dvpth, the traveling mode is switched from the EV mode to the HV mode.
