IMAGE RETRIEVAL APPARATUS AND IMAGE RETRIEVAL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve image data corresponding to another examination object with high similarity on the basis of image measurement data and physiological examination data obtained from image data to be examined.

SOLUTION: The image retrieval apparatus calculates first time-series parameter ratios by a parameter ratio calculation unit 22 on the basis of image measurement data and physiological examination data which are obtained on the basis of various image data of a patient to be examined, evaluates similarity between the first parameter ratios and time-series parameter ratios of a plurality of patients different from the patient to be examined by using a similarity parameter comparison/extraction unit 24, retrieves various image data of the other patient representing the second parameter ratios having the highest similarity with the first parameter ratios of the patient to be examined, and displays the retrieved data on a display.
