<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure the capacity of a storing part in a storing device for a vehicle, the opening part of the storing part being opened/closed by a swingable lid. <P>SOLUTION: This storing device 20 has the storing part 30 provided in a vehicle body and the lid 50 swingably mounted in the storing part to open/close the opening part 31 of the storing part 30. The storing device 20 has a lid support shaft 61 arranged on the storing part 30 side to swingably support the lid 50, lock claws 82L and 82R arranged in the lid 50 to engage/disengage to/from lock claw locking parts 46L and 46R formed on the storing device 20 side, an operation knob 84 for operating the lock claws 82L and 82R in a lock releasing direction, and arms 54L and 54R for regulating a swing motion formed integrally with the lid 50 to regulate the swing motion of the lid 50.
