<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a thermal head which has a high exoergic efficiency and a stable quality. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thermal head includes: a recess formation process for forming a recess for void part and a recess for mark whose depth is larger than that of the recess for void part in one surface of a sheet glass; a joining process for joining a support substrate to the one surface of the sheet glass wherein the recess for void part and the recess for mark have been formed by the recess formation process; a sheeting process for sheeting the sheet glass joined to the support substrate by the joining process until the recess for mark penetrates from the rear surface side to the above one surface; and a heating resistor formation process for forming a heating resistor opposite to the recess for void part in the rear surface side of the sheet glass sheeted by the sheeting process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
