PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger positioning a tube end, and miniaturizing a header tank. SOLUTION: The header tank 3 includes a tank part 15, a middle plate 16, and a tank plate 14. A thin and long plate hole 19 is formed at the middle plate 16. A protrusion 25 protruding in a lamination direction Z is formed in a straight line portion 23 being an inner circumference face 22 of the plate hole 19 and extending in a width direction Y of a tube 4.
