PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball valve with a steam trap for maintaining a steam trap function even when the steam trap is troubled to make it impossible to open/close the valve. SOLUTION: A ball valve element 2 with a T-shaped flow path 6 is turnably arranged in a casing 1 having an inlet 4 and an outlet 5 in the perpendicular direction, and the steam trap 3 is arranged on one side of a long passage 11 of the T-shaped flow path 6. The ball valve element 2 has an orifice passage 18 on the opposite side to a short passage 17 of the T-shaped path 6. The long passage 11 of the T-shaped flow path 6 is connected at one side to the inlet 4 and the short passage 17 of the T-shaped flow path is connected to the outlet 5 to accomplish a steam strap function. The short passage 17 of the T-shaped flow path 6 is connected to the inlet 4 and the long passage 11 of the T-shaped flow path 6 is connected at the other side to the outlet 5 to accomplish a blow function. The long passage 11 of the T-shaped flow path 6 is connected at the other side to the inlet 4 and the orifice passage 18 is connected to the outlet 5 to maintain the steam trap function.
