<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle which maintains the feeling of coincidence of a foreground and display contents and has easily viewable display contents indicating the information of a remote place. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first display unit 11 emits first display light L1. A second display unit 12 emits second display light L2. A transmission reflection plate 13 transmits either the first display light L1 or second display light L2 and reflects the other display light. The first display unit 11 has a first display panel 16 capable of displaying a first image P1 indicating a road and a second image indicating the information at a predetermined position on the road.
