SUPERCONDUCTING MOTOR HAVING COOLING DEVICE FOR ARMATURE COIL

PURPOSE: A superconductive motor with a cooling unit is provided to efficiently absorb heat generated from an armature coil by forming a cooling channel on one side of the armature coil. CONSTITUTION: A superconductive motor comprises a rotor(20) and a stator(40). A superconductive field coil(22) is wound around a rotor. An armature slot(42) is formed on the stator. An armature coil(44) is inserted into the armature slot. A cooling channel(46) is formed on one side of the armature coil. The cooling channel is made of the material with higher resistivity and high conductivity than the armature coil. The cooling channel is made of stainless steel or copper alloy.
