<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve further enhancement of steering feeling when traveling straight ahead on a cant road. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power steering device 1 for controlling steering assist amount by an assist motor 31 in response to steering torque at least, is equipped with a steering torque sensor 7 for detecting steering torque, a straight-ahead cruise travelling determination part 14 for determining whether or not a vehicle is under straight-ahead traveling and a correction amount calculation part 16 for correcting a steering assist amount. The correction amount calculation part 16 corrects the steering assist amount so as to make the steering torque detected by the steering torque sensor 7 not more than a target steering torque set in advance when the vehicle is determined to be under straight-ahead traveling by the straight-ahead cruise travelling determination part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
