<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently treat various components included in exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: This heat storage type burner (2) includes a heat storage part (24) and an auxiliary heating part (23). The heat storage part (24) stores heat by heat recovery from exhaust gas when the exhaust gas is introduced, and preheats combustion air by heat release to the combustion air when the combustion air is introduced instead of the exhaust gas.
