<p>The invention relates to an indicator meant for the identification of the direction of rotation of an asynchronous three-phase motor. According to the invention, the direction indicator comprises a three-phase magnetic core (1) on which three star-connected windings (2a, 2b and 2c) are placed and a rotor (3) consisting of three successive layers: a first layer (3a) made of a mixture of ferrofluid and paraffin, a second layer (3b) made of a mixture of paraffin and magnetic powder and a third layer (3c) made of a thin foil of electrotechnics steel and placed within a water bath (4), in a cylindrical container (5) of transparent material, the direction of rotation of a motor being given by the direction of rotation of the rotor (3) within the magnetic field generated by the three windings (2a, 2b and 2c) connected to the motor terminal.</p> |
