Disclosed is an exercising apparatus which includes a vertical post, a horizontal base member at a lower end of the post and an inclined strut extending forwardly from an intermediate portion of the post. The inclined strut has a horizontal foot member. The apparatus includes an arm hingedly mounted at an upper end of the post which is pivotable through a range of selected angles. The apparatus further includes a first crank assembly rotatably mounted on the post and a second crank assembly rotatably mounted at a distal end of the arm. The first and second crank assemblies are arranged such that a person seated adjacent the post can independently operate the first crank assembly with their feet and/or the second crank assembly with their hands.
