PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for controlling operation of air conditioners capable of preventing an intermittent operation state of the air conditioners from continuing and capable of preventing a power consumption amount of the air conditioners from increasing.

SOLUTION: This air conditioner operation control device 30 for controlling air-conditioning operation of a plurality of the air conditioners which air-condition a predetermined space 2 includes: an air-conditioning load calculation part 31A for calculating air-conditioning load in the predetermined space based on consumed electric currents of outdoor units 20A-20F connected to indoor units 10A-10L installed in the predetermined space for composing a plurality of the air conditioners and outside air temperature outside the predetermined space; an air conditioner selecting part 31A for selecting an air conditioner controllable to be in an air-conditioning operation state among a plurality of the air conditioners according to the air-conditioning load calculated by the air-conditioning load calculation part; and an air conditioner operation state adjustment part 31A for adjusting the air conditioner selected by the air conditioner selecting part to perform air-conditioning operation within a range of target load ratio in which the air conditioner can be maintained in a continuous operation state.
