<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a terminal member of a structure of removing an oxide film formed on itself and each surface of collector plates and a battery equipped with the same, and thereby, to prevent unevenness of conductivity due to differences of press-fitting states, in such a terminal member of structure of press-fitting terminal parts to collector plates as well as a battery equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The collector component 8, 13 has a press-fitting hole 8c, 13c formed, and the terminal component 5, 10 has a clinch part 7, 12 including a roughened face forming part 7b, 12b as a site with an outer diameter D2 larger than an inner diameter D4 of the press-fitting hole 8c, 13c formed at one end 5a, 10a, and a turned-up part 7d, 12d as a site with an outer diameter D3 smaller than the inner diameter D4 of the press-fitting hole 8c, 13c formed further toward an end part side than the roughened face forming part 7b, 12b in the one end 5a, 10a.
