<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact power supply system for improving the efficiency of supplying power by reducing electromagnetic waves leaking outside in a power supply system in which a resonance method is adopted. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The noncontact power supply system includes a power transmitting apparatus including a primary self-resonance coil receiving power from a power supply and transmitting power, a power receiving device comprising a secondary self-resonance coil 110 which is arranged by leaving an interval from the primary self-resonance coil and receives power transmitted from the primary self-resonance coil by electromagnetic resonance and a shielding member 405 disposed to surround a periphery of a region R positioned between the primary self-resonance coil and the secondary self-resonance coil 110 upon supplying power. A resonance frequency of the shielding member 405 is set between a resonance frequency with the primary self-resonance coil and the second self-resonance coil 110, and a frequency which is three times as much as the resonance frequency.
