PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fatigue in transfer of an air compressor. SOLUTION: The air compressor 1 includes casters 6 and a foldable handle 8. An assist handle 85 of the foldable handle 8 is provided in such a manner that the same is rotate with respect to a handle body 83, and is expanded to an expansion position "b" from a folded state, and is folded to a folded position "a" from an expansion state. When the air compressor is transferred, the assist handle 85 is rotated to expanded to the expansion position "b". The a grip part at a tip side of the assist handle 85 is gripped, the air compressor 1 is obliquely lifted, and the caster 6 at an opposite side of the foldable handle 8 is grounded. Then, the assist handle 85 is gripped and the air compressor is drawn and is moved to a working position at a job site. Consequently, a handle position during transfer becomes higher, half-sitting posture of a worker which is forced with former air compressors is relaxed, and fatigue from transfer of the air compressor is reduced.
