PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide rail device of a vehicular seat having a small number of part items compared to the conventional one and facilitating assembling due to a simple device structure. SOLUTION: The slide rail device 3 includes a lower rail 10, an upper rail 20, a locking member 30 for locking the upper rail, and an operating lever 5 connected to the locking member. The locking member 30 is a long member having spring elasticity. The locking member 30 is simply non-turnably mounted to the upper rail 20 based on the projection/recess fitting of a non-circular shaped fitting projection part 41 provided on both side of a central connection part 33 of the locking member 30 with a non-circular shaped fitting recess part 42 provided on both side wall parts of the upper rail 20. Therefore, when operating the operating lever 5 for releasing locking, a spring force for returning to the original state is generated in the locking member 30 and the spring force provides both a return force to a locking position and a return force to the original position of the operating lever 5.
