<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a conductive polymer high in conductivity and excelling in heat resistance; a solid electrolytic capacitor manufactured by using the conductive polymer; and a method of manufacturing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This oxidizer for manufacturing the conductive polymer contains a nitrobenzenesulfonate derivative salt represented by formula (1), wherein X<SP>n+</SP>is a transition metal cation, and n is an integer of 2-7.
