<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control backlash of a toilet seat 2 in the direction of shaft center Y2 of the toilet seat. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toilet seat device has one pivotally supporting part X1 and another pivotally supporting part X2 for pivotally supporting the toilet seat 2 to a support body 6 in such a way as swingable via both attaching arms 4 and 5. The another pivotally supporting part X2 has a toilet seat transfer regulating part 39 to regulate the transfer of the attached toilet seat 2 in one direction (to the right side) to a regulated position Q. The one pivotally supporting part X1 includes: a pivot 10 projecting from a swelling part 7; a bearing part 13 disposed in one attaching arm 4 and having a shaft mounting part 13a and one pivot inserting/extracting opening 13b for inserting/extracting the pivot 10 into/from the shaft mounting part 13a; and a pressing means 40 for pressing the shaft mounting part 13a with the inserted pivot 10 passing through the pivot inserting/extracting opening 13b toward the projection distal end side of the pivot 10.
