PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate a communication rate several times by increasing information to be transmitted in one cycle of data. SOLUTION: A communication control apparatus includes a communication section connected to a communication line such as a CEC control line to be used for the HDMI standards. Regarding the communication standards, information is assigned by changing a pulsewidth of data and a fixed allowable width is set to both rising and falling of data. The communication section divides the allowable width into a plurality of intervals regarding rising of data or falling of data and performs data communication while assigning information for each interval.
