<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial control input device with excellent portability and to provide electronic equipment and a hand-held device which include the input device. <P>SOLUTION: The input device 1 has a card-like shape and the whole size of the input device 1 is approximately the same size as an expansion card such as a PC card. The input device 1 includes a case 10 and a connector 6 formed on one end part of the case 10. The other end part (top portion 7) of the case 10 is formed so as to be bent and a sensor unit 17 is arranged on the top part 7 side. Since the input device 1 can be inserted into a slot 66 of a note type PC40 and carried, the portability of the input device 1 can be improved. When a user grasps the input device 1, the input device 1 is unconsciously grasped so that a connector 6 is directed to the user side and the top part 7 is directed to a screen 3.
