<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication terminal whose data communication speed can be set without altering the structure of an adapter for the radio communication terminal nor a program for DTE control even in a system including radio communication terminals differing in data communication speed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio communication terminal which performs radio communication includes a first memory table storing a first communication speed group as communication speeds for radio communication, a second memory table storing a second communication speed group different from the first memory table, a control unit which selects one of the first and second memory tables and controlling a communication mode, and a communication speed setting operation unit for setting a communication speed from the communication speed group stored in the first or second memory table.
