PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair wherein the degree of freedom of design can be reasonably improved even when fluid bags are incorporated in a seat and a backrest. SOLUTION: The chair includes: shells 27 and 55 having side support forming parts 27b and 55b forming a recessed shape in the back surface view on both left and right sides of shell bodies 27a and 55a; the plurality of fluid bags 31, 33, 59, and 61 attached to the side of the sitting surfaces 4a and 5a of the shells 27 and 55 so as to achieve a cushion function; a fluid controller housed on the recessed back surface side of the side support forming parts 27b and 55b and being in charge of the operation of leading fluid in and out of the fluid bags 31, 33, 59, and 61; and exterior materials 29 and 57 mounted on the side of the sitting surfaces 4a and 5a of the shells 27 and 55 so as to cover the fluid bags 31, 33, 59, and 61.
