PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus traveling system for reducing an environmental load by increasing a utilization ratio by improving convenience of a conventional transportation system such as a route bus. SOLUTION: The bus traveling system includes a travel support terminal 10 mounted on the route bus 1 traveling along a predetermined route, and a reservation terminal 20 that is carried by a user 2 and can communicate with the travel support terminal 1. The reservation terminal 20 transmits reservation information including a getting on position and getting off position on the route to the travel support terminal 10, and the travel support terminal 10 informs a driver of the reservation information at an appropriate time. Preferably, the bus traveling system further includes a reservation support device 30 communicating with the travel support terminal 10 and reservation terminal 20. The reservation support device 30 communicates with the reservation terminal 20 to support a reservation operation, and transfers the reservation information of the reservation terminal 20 to the travel support terminal 10 of the specific route bus 1.
